Forests & Fields Consulting Inc. (FFCI)
Forests & Fields Consulting Inc. (FFCI) is a company offering forest- and land-management related services. These include writing and submitting managed forest plans for Ontario’s Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program; invasive species and vegetation management through both mechanical and chemical means; plantation management, including thinning; forest trail clearing and management; and tree care. Sustainably managing lands and forests involves an array of skills and approaches, and FFCI is well-positioned to provide this service.
FFCI is owned by Rainer Kurt Dinkelmann, R.P.F. who holds several certifications and accreditations giving him the expertise needed to carry out this work. These include a Forestry Technician Diploma from Fleming College; a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo; a Master of Forest Conservation from the University of Toronto; a membership as a Registered Professional Forester with the Ontario Professional Foresters Association; a Managed Forest Plan Approver certification from the Government of Ontario; a Certified Arborist certification from the International Society of Arboriculture; and several pesticide exterminator licences.

Rainer Kurt Dinkelmann, R.P.F
Founder & CEO
Rainer Kurt Dinkelmann, R.P.F. has over 10 years experience working for and with the provincial government, conservation authorities, upper-tier municipalities, forestry consulting companies, and for private landowners. The work experience gained through these positions includes all of the services currently offered by FFCI. Rainer also holds a Forestry Technician Diploma, a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, and a Master of Forest Conservation. In addition, Rainer holds several certifications and licences allowing him to carry out the work. These include the designation as a Registered Professional Forester with the Ontario Professional Foresters Association; a Managed Forest Plan Approver designation from the Government of Ontario; pesticide exterminator licences that allow him to conduct pesticide work in a variety of situations; and a Certified Arborist designation from the International Society of Arboriculture. Rainer has built strong relationships with several key people in the land and forest management field, including at a local conservation authority and upper-tier municipality.
